On the 4th, the United Nations launched an action plan to promote the energy commitment to 2025 to promote the use of renewable energy, and by 2025, another 500 million people will have access to electricity supply, and another 1 billion people will have access to clean cooking solutions.
The Action Plan’s goals also include a 100 percent increase in global renewable energy generation capacity by 2025, an additional 30 million jobs in renewable energy and energy efficiency, and a significant increase in global annual investment in clean energy.
