The United States Will Add Another 6GW Of Battery And Module Factories

On September 10, according to media reports, DyCm Power, LLC (hereinafter referred to as "DyCm Power"), a joint venture formed by Das & Co., LLC and APC Holdings, LLC, announced that it will cooperate with Macquarie Capital to build a solar cell and module manufacturing plant in the United States with a total investment of US$800 million. The investment amount is equivalent to approximately RMB 5.7 billion.

The plant is expected to begin commercial operations in the first half of 2026, with an initial annual production capacity of 2GW of cells and modules, and plans to expand to 6GW later. DyCm Power's manufacturing facilities will focus on the production of advanced TopCon cells and modules, and are expected to start shipping in the first half of 2026. Currently, DyCm Power is completing the site selection process for the plant in the southeastern United States.
