Recently, the JTC 118MW ground photovoltaic power generation project on Jurong Island, Singapore, which was contracted by China Energy Construction Shanxi Institute EPC, reached the mechanical completion node target, indicating that the project is fully qualified for grid-connected power transmission.

The project is located in the south and north of the Banyan site of the Singapore Jurong Island Energy Storage Project, which is contracted by Shanxi Institute. It is divided into 6 plots with a total construction area of about 60 hectares. The total installed capacity of the project is 118MW, and a 22kV switch station is built simultaneously in each plot. The project officially started in February 2024. After the completion of the project, it will further promote the green and low-carbon transformation of Singapore and inject new impetus into the sustainable development of Singapore's green energy.

As of September 30, all construction and installation work and single-unit commissioning of the project photovoltaic field have been fully completed. At the same time, the construction work of 6 22kV booster stations has also been completed, and the mechanical completion node has been fully achieved, laying a solid foundation for subsequent grid-connected work.
