Aug 13, 2024Leave a message

On August 2, local time, the Andalusia photovoltaic project in Colombia achieved full capacity grid-connected power generation, laying a solid foundation for the company's further expansion in the South American market.

The project is located in the Zabaletas District of Andalusia City, Valle del Cauca Province, Colombia, with a total installed capacity of 10 MW. It is the second photovoltaic project of Celcia Company undertaken by China Power Construction after the Palmira III photovoltaic project in Colombia, and it is also the first photovoltaic project in Colombia with a self-operated management model.

Since the civil construction of the project started in May 2023, the construction lasted 15 months. The project department adopted a model combining the Chinese project management team with the localized project management team, and strictly controlled the design, construction, installation and commissioning, effectively ensuring the construction progress of the project, ensuring the high-quality, safe and efficient completion of the project construction tasks, and was fully recognized by the owner and the supervisor.

The successful power generation of the Andalusia photovoltaic project effectively solved the power supply demand of Valle del Cauca Province, enhanced China Power Construction's influence in the field of new energy in Colombia, and contributed to the power construction to help Colombia's energy transformation.
