Selection of photovoltaic power generation equipment

Jun 29, 2022Leave a message

First of all, photovoltaic power generation is generally reliable. It is a fact that the installed capacity is still increasing. More and more people think that photovoltaic is the future energy of mankind. Although the cost is slightly higher now, with the advancement of technology, the era of affordable Internet access will come sooner or later. By then, photovoltaics will usher in a broader development, which is also the ultimate goal of the state to support energy development.

At present, photovoltaic power plants are mainly distributed in: centralized power plants and distributed power plants on the roofs of residential buildings, industrial and commercial buildings, etc.

In recent years, with the pollution of the environment and the strong support and encouragement of the state for new energy, photovoltaics are more and more recognized by the people. As a family financial product, photovoltaic power plants are both clean energy and investment properties, but due to Lack of market supervision and some unscrupulous merchants, shoddy, resulting in a mixed bag of good and bad in the photovoltaic market. So if we decide to invest, how should we choose a reliable business? This should be the most concerned issue for users.

The photovoltaic power generation system mainly looks at five parts:

1. Solar panels (solar modules, the market is mainly divided into two categories: crystalline silicon and thin-film modules); crystalline silicon modules are further divided into two categories: monocrystalline silicon and amorphous silicon);

Solar panel selection: First of all, thin-film modules are not recommended, why do you say that? Looking at the market share, the market share of thin-film modules is the lowest. Secondly, monocrystalline modules and polycrystalline modules can basically be selected, because they have a lot of market shares and are mature technologies. The two components are guaranteed for 25 years and the output power is not less than 80% of the initial power.

2. Photovoltaic brackets (divided into two categories: fixed brackets and tracking brackets);

Bracket selection: For brackets, fixed brackets are generally selected, because although the tracking brackets are already mature, maintenance costs are required in the later stage, and the market share is relatively small. Then you must choose a fixed bracket. The fixed bracket generally uses hot-dip galvanized C-shaped steel brackets and aluminum profiles in the market. Note that C-shaped steel brackets should be installed to avoid on-site welding and other methods. If the room type orientation and other factors must be welded. Do a good job of rust prevention, and regularly check for rust prevention. Bracket life and component life are basically the same.

3. Inverters (string inverters, micro inverters, and centralized inverters);

Inverter selection: centralized inverters are not suitable for small distributed systems; it is too wasteful to use micro-inverters; generally, string inverters are selected, and string inverters are the same to see market share.

4. Cable;

Photovoltaic cables are most used in distributed systems. Photovoltaic cables have different properties than ordinary cables in terms of high temperature resistance, aging resistance, bearing capacity, and bending. PV cables are used regardless of DC in the system. There is no need to worry about the AC cable part, which is generally in accordance with the requirements of the State Grid, otherwise the State Grid will not pre-acceptance.

5. Distribution box (combiner box)

Distribution box (combiner box) selection: Generally, the combiner box has different interfaces and power matching according to different installed capacities. The basic requirements for small distributed distribution of power distribution cabinets are not high, as long as there are self-reclosing reclosing, lightning surge protection, knife switches, circuit breakers, etc. The requirements vary from place to place, according to local requirements.
