Important Equipment Maintenance Checks
Judging from the current equipment maintenance volume, the maintenance requirements of photovoltaic modules and combiner boxes are relatively large, and daily defects are also concentrated in these two categories of equipment. Some of the more common abnormalities, such as component damage, MC4 plug overheating damage, combiner box communication motherboard damage, branch circuit fuse blown, branch circuit cable grounding, etc., we must take targeted technical treatment, otherwise it will develop into equipment failure. Seriously affect the power generation efficiency and cause more accidents.
Maintenance of the combiner box
For the combiner box, we must first know how to judge the health status of the equipment through the monitoring system, and analyze whether the changes in the data are within the normal range. The early warning of the system is generated after the abnormality of the fault occurs. Our maintenance work needs to be in advance of the abnormal warning, judge the possibility of error in advance, and go to the maintenance and adjustment in time.
Check the branch current and fuse status, if there is zero current, you need to check whether to replace the fuse.
Reinforce the MC4 plug of the string to determine whether there is heat. If so, you need to replace the plug with a new one to prevent the plug from being overheated and burned.
Check whether the branch cable is complete, and clean up foreign objects around the cable. For example, in the open-circuit state, the voltage between one pole to ground is zero or a small fixed value. In this case, the grounded pole should be twisted, and the damaged insulation layer should be repaired in time. .
Check whether the input and output terminals of the combiner box are discolored and blackened and carry out reinforcement work. If the aging condition is serious, the terminals and cable heads should be replaced in time.
Clean the dust and sediment on the inner wall of the combiner box, check whether the base is hot and discolored, especially for newly put into operation facilities, pay special attention to the heat generation, and clean and strengthen the related heat dissipation facilities.
maintenance of components
Check and reinforce all types of wiring and fixtures between components and brackets. Inspect and clean component surfaces for damage and hot spots.
Check all photovoltaic modules, cables, electrical equipment and grounding, clean up the sundries on the outside of the insulation layer, and replace the new cable segments in time if there are signs of aging, or seal and reinforce them with insulating tape.
Under the condition that the rust of the bracket is relatively light and does not affect the stability of the bracket, the rusted part shall be derusted, and the anti-rust layer shall be re-sprayed. If the corrosion degree affects the stability of the facility, it shall be reinforced by patch welding or replaced as a whole. Inverter maintenance
Compared with components and combiner boxes, inverters have complex structures, many components, complex working principles, relatively poor reliability, and heavier maintenance work.
Daily record and close observation of operating data such as voltage and current. Most of the potential problems have intuitive feedback at the data level, and different component series also have certain differences that need to be considered.
For every maintenance and cleaning, pay attention to the condition of the exhaust system of the inverter facility, and clean and strengthen the interface cables of the exhaust facility. If there is abnormal exhaust air, no matter whether there is a problem with the inverter operation, it should be dealt with immediately.
