Bird dung shelter is not to be underestimated.
Photovoltaic modules are often built on roofs and ground, and are used outdoors for a long time. Photovoltaic modules will also become a place for birds to "play". Bird feces and scattered bird feathers become frequent visitors to photovoltaic modules.
Wires and guardrails are easily overlooked occlusions.
Although the construction scope of photovoltaic power plants is fixed, the environment around the power station is diverse. Even a very professional system design company will ignore the invisible shielding of wires and power station guardrails.
The dust on the photovoltaic modules accumulates and blocks over time.
Usually in our home and office, if we do not clean it for a few days, a thick layer of dust will appear. For photovoltaic power plants placed outdoors, it is easier and easier to recruit dust. When the modules are covered with a layer of dust, don’t underestimate it. This layer of dust has a great impact on the power generation of photovoltaic modules.
Fixed occlusion caused by buildings.
There are two types of buildings here: first, the buildings that already existed before the construction of the power station; second, the buildings built the day after tomorrow.
The sundries on the photovoltaic modules are blocked.
What are the effects of these different types of occlusions?
Different occlusion areas have different power losses for the power station. Let’s look at a set of data. The occlusion areas are 3%, 6%, 9%, and 11%, respectively. Their corresponding power losses are 25%, 44%, 54%, 47%. The shadow produced by the most inconspicuous railing is between 2.6 and 2.8%, and the power loss ratio is around 16.7%.
After understanding the factors of occlusion and the loss caused by occlusion, how should users or potential users avoid occlusion?
1. Before the construction of the photovoltaic power station, it is necessary to do a preliminary investigation to determine whether the surrounding high-voltage lines, railings, vegetation, and existing buildings (the planned buildings should also be expected earlier) will be blocked. Find a way to eliminate the blocking and change the installation location.
2. After the power station is built, regular operation and maintenance should be done, and dust, bird droppings, fallen leaves, etc. should be cleaned regularly to keep the top of the photovoltaic module panel clean.
3. Avoid man-made occlusions, such as inadvertent occlusions caused by artificially added guardrails of photovoltaic power plants, such as wrong practices such as lack of popular science in drying clothes and vegetables in photovoltaic modules.
