So how do you maintain your PV modules in hot weather?

Maintain ventilation: whether components or inverters, distribution boxes and other equipment, to maintain air circulation. Do not increase the number of PV modules unreasonably in order to increase the power generation, resulting in mutual occlusion between modules, affecting ventilation and heat dissipation. When designing a power station, a reliable service provider should be selected and a reasonable scheme should be designed according to the actual situation of the roof and the power output.

Avoid clutter: make sure that equipment such as photovoltaic modules, inverters, and distribution boxes are open and unobstructed, so as not to affect the heat dissipation of the plant, it must be removed in time.

Proper cooling: in hot weather, the inverter and distribution box installed in the sun and rain shelter, if the field environment is open without shelter, general to install them on the awning, avoid direct sunlight, make the equipment temperature is too high, affect the power output and equipment life. If necessary, the equipment can be equipped with cooling fans.

In addition, in order to ensure the safety of photovoltaic power plants in summer, to avoid high temperature caused by equipment failure and may cause disasters, the photovoltaic modules of the regular inspection is essential:

Touch the device shell, determine whether the temperature is too high, do Not Touch the device directly with your palm in large areas to avoid injury. Listen carefully for any abnormal noise from the fan, smell if there is a smell of burning due to equipment failure. In addition, also need to learn to look at the operation of equipment data, accurately judge whether there is abnormal situation, found problems need to be recorded in time, and inform service providers to deal with.
